A Great Birthday Weekend

My birthday celebration started last night at a party at the Siver's Center next door. Six of us August birthday residents were treated to appetizers, wine and birthday cake - plus - entertainment by a belly dancer.

Roger arrived at noon today carrying a gorgeous cake that he baked and decorated last night. The flowers are edible but they are too pretty to eat. We just finished eating some of the cake and it tastes as good as it looks.

At 2 p.m. we walked to the Keller Theater to see a live production of Fiddler On The Roof. The production was impressive with beautiful stage settings and a live orchestra. The production lasted almost three hours and we were sorry to see it end.

After the theater, we hopped on a streetcar and went to the River Front to McCormick and Schmicks for dinner.

I had many calls and notes today and it was great hearing from family and friends. Thanks so much for remembering.
