It's the beginning of "birthday week". You celebrate yours in just one day? Well, I believe that I can stretch it out for at least a weekend and even better - a week so this noon Merry treated me to lunch at one of Portland's newer restaurants in the Pearl called "1001". We were able to get there using the streetcar but today it was crazy. There's a convention of City Planners from all over the U.S. and it was standing room only. The lunch was very elegant and delicious so it's a place that we'll want to return to.
