Sunday - Flight To Paris

The flight from Portland to Atlanta went well and we were fortnate to be seated in an Exit Row so we had a lot of leg room. Our plane from Atlanta to Paris was large and new so we enjoyed the amenities, however, the seats were very close and the rows each seated three people so it was difficult (actually impossible) to sleep. The airplane averaged 680 mph so on Monday we arrived in Paris one hour earlier than scheduled. Afran, Roger's sister and Philippe, her husband, met us at the airport and took us on a driving tour of Paris that included all the famous places that we read about in books. It was fascinating and my first time in Paris so I loved seeing everything so quickly after arriving.
