Lawrence Halprin's Open Space Sequence THE SOURCE

Across the street from my condo is a small fountain known as "THE SOURCE".  It is the first in a sequence of fountains that were designed by the famed architect, Lawrence Halprin.  

Because it is by far the smallest in the park walk-thru areas we tend to ignore it - but today, the fall leaves and bright sunshine could not be ignored and I realized how beautiful it is in its simplicity.
