The answer is quite simple. My calendar says that we leave from Portland to Newark on Friday. So - bags are packed and it's time to get a boarding pass and............ there's a message that says that we can't get a pass until it's within 24 hours. Out flight is at 12:30 p.m. and it's already 1:30 p.m. so what the heck???????? Well, I'm one day early. So then I panic - OMG - we have another flight on United from Newark to Paris and now we're not going to make it in time. After a "calming session", I finally realize that, yes, the two flights, the hotel reservation in Newark are all OK - they are just one day ahead. SO, that means we leave on Saturday, spend the night in Newark and board the plane on Sunday and land in Paris on Monday. Other than feeling very foolish, I decide that this is a good thing. One more day with no pressure, nothing much to do but relax so all is well..................
Roger is busy packing two paintings that will be a gift to his brother in Brussels and another for his sister in Hamburg. Now we have time to get them shipped tomorrow.
Here's one of his latest projects......................................................... He had to paint a nine panel grid with a different value in each grid for his final class project and it turned out beautifully.
