Tonight Allison and I joined an "Our House" event at the Floral Design Institute where we picked our ribbon, ornaments and pine cones to decorate our fresh green wreath for Christmas. Before going to work we enjoyed wine and champagne with appetizers and then we spent over an hour decorating our wreaths - each one-of-a-kind. After the wreaths were finished we were served dinner and dessert prepared by a nearby restaurant, "Bent Brick".We met some delightful women and thoroughly enjoyed our class on wreath making so it looks like we'll want to repeat this experience again next year.
