SENSE & SENSIBILITY at Portland Center Stage

Today was "old ladies day" at the Portland Center Stage Theater.  I call it that because the play starts at noon (attended mostly by women over age 65) so there's time for a nap when we oldsters get home ..................  Today's play lasted almost three hours so instead of a nap, I chose having a glass of wine with my lunch at Jake's Crawfish Restaurant, followed by a LYFT home.

If you're in Portland, I highly suggest that you see this play.  It adds humor to the classic novel and the inventive staging is creative and exciting.  It was a perfect way yo spend a Thursday afternoon!

LOOKING GOOD AT 80 AT MORTONS STEAKHOUSE IN PORTLAND

Allison celebrated her 80th in December and Ann is hitting the big 80 this month.  We celebrated at Mortons Steakhouse in downtown Portland on Clay Street.

Generous servings of delicious food and exemplary service is guaranteed at this popular restaurant.  We girls splurged with orders of filet mignon and lobster tail - plus several decadent sides and soufflés for dessert.

80 IS LOOKING REALLY SPECTACULAR  !!
