THE LOOK OF FALL at Portland's Farmer's Market

I love my weekly visits to the Farmer's Market on the PSU campus.  Now that the MAX stop is close, I can hop on for two stops and then it's only a short walk away.

Since we're going to the coast for a couple days, I bought "light" this week but I couldn't resist the farm fresh tomatoes, corn and basil and the organic eggs from chickens who are pasture fed.

When I spotted the squash I came to the realization that Fall is getting very close.  Since our summers are so short, we're hopeful we'll get a few more weeks of sunshine but, since both Roger and I love the Fall and the vibrant colors, we're ready to embrace a new season.
