This afternoon was a lot of fun. Pat Young, Allison Leak and I did some exploring by taking MAX and then transferring to the streetcar to venture into the area across the river. We always drive so now it's time that we get more familiar with where public transportation will take us. Yes, as expected, we made some (several) mistakes but it was a beneficial learning experience.
Our goal was to get to the Bit House Saloon (really funky and historic) for brunch, bingo and lots of enjoyment. The "sisters" are all adorable gents dressed in some very creative outfits and they were perfect hosts. We had the choice of Bloody Marys and Mimosas, along with the food, so the festivities quickly increased as drinks were poured.
Yes, we won prizes and it was great for three little old ladies to just be silly and have some fun.
