It's said that time goes faster when one is having fun so that's my excuse for forgetting to post some Happy Birthday wishes; first to Orlan, my brother-in-law - December 4th, Christopher (Roger's grandson) on the 5th and to my Niece, Kathleen whose birthday is today.
Saturday evening we picked up Ashley and her mom from PDX and we've been on the move every minute.
Yesterday, after breakfast, the girls and I went to a boutique that featured local artists who had an open house with holiday gifts - followed by a visit to an upscale Estate sale in the hills near Tigard. In the afternoon we watched the DVD, Entrapment and last night we had a small dinner party. We pan fried a whole fresh salmon and Roger made Iranian Vegetable Rice so dinner was fabulous. One guest brought a Jordon Cabernet which made a perfect accompaniment. Now it's time to head to the bakery for a baguette so we can enjoy a Raclette breakfast.
This afternoon we're taking MAX to head downtown to check out a new department store that opened about two weeks ago.
