Steve and Vicki are in Portland after their long drive yesterday from Chico, California. We started the morning with pastries and coffee and then spent some time at the Farmer's Market.We enjoyed a leisurely day catching up on news and enjoying the temperate weather that unexpectedly arrived (the forecast was for 90 degrees and the high today was about 78 - perfect - ).
Tomorrow, after breakfast, they're on their way to Seattle for a couple of nights and then they'll spend the rest of the week in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, we have sold the guest room furniture and a couple of other pieces on Craigslist so now we can start to get serious about changing the guest room into a studio for Roger. It will be a busy week.
