Rhododendron Season in Portland

Walking to the market this morning, I realized that it's the beginning of Rhododendron season here in downtown.  Most are still in their budding stage but we have one week of sunshine coming up so they'll open quickly.  The azaleas have been blooming for some time but those in shady areas are still bright and beautiful.
