Grecian Baklava



Today is was time to do something new in the kitchen so we decided to make Baklava. First I checked for a recipe on the Internet. After reviewing at least two dozen, I finally decided on one that included fresh squeezed orange juice in the syrup. Roger was in charge of the syrup and I put the phyllo and nut mixture together using some pistachios and walnuts combined. With two of us working it didn't even take much time.

We ended up with 32 pieces so tonight we shared half of the pan with our friends at Lincoln Tower.
