In a short while Roger and I will head to the hospital where he will have a "Port-a-Catheter" inserted to carry the Chemo therapy that starts next week on Thursday.
Mantle Cell Lymphoma is a rare disease and today there is no cure. Patients can live many years with a good quality of life, however, so we are confident that once treatment is completed, his normal activities can be resumed. For now, all the necessary tests have been completed and the results have been mostly positive.
