Tuesday was an enjoyable day with time spent at the Wells Glass Studio. Wednesday night Ann and I went to Allium in West Linn (about a 30 minute drive) to celebrate her birthday. The dinner was fabulous and it was even more special when about ten of her family surprised her by coming into the restaurant and singing "happy birthday" and giving her flowers. Thursday Roger had a PT scan and last night we enjoyed dinner at the Gilt Club on Broadway in downtown Portland. Today Roger is busy working on a new painting and Bella and I had time to do some errands. The sun was out all day with temps in the low 50s so there were people everywhere enjoying the great weather.
Tomorrow afternoon Gina and I are going to the Profile Theater, with plans to visit a tea shop afterwards. Then it will be time to enjoy the last half of the Super Bowl so it should be a great day. I've promised biscuits and gravy for breakfast and the rest of the day Roger can work on his painting. It features a portrait of Beethoven with other objects in a musical theme.
Roger is enrolled in a multi-media sculpture class so he has been very busy gathering up unusual eclectic objects for his sculptures. Next week we'll visit Lowes to pick up concrete tools and other paraphernalia for his next project.
