Roger's latest painting in his "Wild Nature" series......

Roger just completed an acrylic on canvas 28 by 38 inch painting titled "Wild Agave".  He has two more to do in this series so today he's starting one that features a cactus flower.

Mike and Teresa joined us for Mother's Day weekend.  They flew in Friday night and Saturday we enjoyed the Farmer's Market followed by lunch outdoors at River Front (my Mother's Day treat).  Weather was lovely so it was a perfect day for being outdoors.  Even little Bella got to join in on the fun.

Sunday after breakfast we took MAX to the "Saturday Market" (they are also there Sunday) and it was an opportunity to see some creative craft and art items and also a good opportunity to "people watch".

It truly was a very special Mother's Day!

She's already showing her personality.

We LOVE Bella.............

Out sweet little girl is doing fine, even with her heart problem, but she takes extra care now.  It's like she knows................... she's more quiet now and a bit more "clingy" but her doctor is encouraged with her progress.  We're hopeful that she'll make it to her 10th birthday in October.

My friend, Rae, invited "the girls" for dinner last night and this was the view from one of her balconies. 

We're enjoying a lovely spring with weather that rapidly changes from sunny to thunderstorms and then back to sunny again.
